Is there a lo jack for dogs?

I had come across some lo jack collar for dogs, but what i really wanted to know is that if there was a way where they can put like a chip where they can follow by gps. I know they have a chip where they can scan the animal if they get lost and find out its owners info., but thats not what i want.

i have my pom microchipped so that if they get lost and they get picked up by a pound or something they will scan it and show their id number and who owns it. Many vets scan new dogs as they come in just to make sure they aren’t stolen. It isn’t expensive and the chip can be read universally. I reccomend doing it.

Yep! AKC just recently released one:

Other brands make them too, but this one works with the AKC, which i trust very much. They are a little more expensive than a regular microchip, and it is in a collar. There are not microchips that can be GPS trakcers. Not yet anyway.

They haven’t made what you are looking for yet. Its a collar with a device the size of a ring box on it.

there are no GPS microchips.. GPS technology just isnt that small yet.

The only GPS capabilities available for your dog is the GPS collar.
