Black Tracker Blood Hound Possibly Miscarried Pups?

My neighbor’s dog is walking around whimpering and acts as if she is in pain. They bred her about 3 months ago and assumed that it didn’t take because she showed no signs of being pregnant. She hasn’t gotten any bigger..is still lean and muscular looking. It is three months later and the dog is pacing back and forth across their living room and whining while holding a toy. She won’t put it down, and she has been diging in their clothes as if she is making a bed. Her nipples are swollen and enlarged and there appears to be a small mass in her lower abdomen and she shows discomfort when you try to touch it. I am guessing it may be dried up milk…and I know that they need to take her to a vet so please dont tell me that. It isnt an option at this time obviously at 12:25 am. I just want to know if there is someone that has had this experience before or if anyone knows exactly what has happened. Thank you!

If you found a stray dog…?

If you found a lost dog, what would you do with it… personally, either way I’d grab the dog, so it would be safe. Then call the owners if there was a tag, contact the shelters with or without a tag… and post signs.

Obviously, if the dog had a collar with their "return to" tag, you’d call the owner. But, what if the dog didn’t have any collar with information?

We have a pack of hunting dogs, and at any given time they all always have collars with our contact info on it, and tracking units and vests when we hunt to keep them safe. One of our dogs was hunting Friday, then suddenly we couldn’t find him on the tracker.

Found out the next day after looking for him ALL NIGHT, literally that someone found the dog, put it in their dog and left. Never called, nothing. Took off with an expensive, trained dog…with over 0 of gear on. We posted signs immediately. I became frustrated after waiting 12 hours and went around to all the signs "offering a reward", which is when we finally got a call about the dog.

Early this afternoon someone called us, said the dog was just dumped near our hunting grounds… with the same discription of the truck that picked him up. He is home, gear and all… safe and sound… we are very fortunate and grateful!

Why would someone equip a dog with a radio/gps lock collar and paint numbers on it's sides out in the country?

The dog wandered onto our farm this morning—the painted numbers disturbed us a bit and so we are hesitant to hand over the animal until making sure this isn’t something bad but we have called the contact number with no answer. Looks to be in good health, hungry, thirsty and really friendly–no signs of abuse and really wants in the house. Any help would be welcome!
